Bromeliad

Bromeliad is the generic term for all flowering plants in the Bromeliaceae family. They are native to tropical and sub-tropical regions. 

Temperature: 

Bromeliad prefers warm temperatures, but can tolerate temperatures as low as 10°C. Long periods of cold can cause leaf distortion and cold damage. They can take quite high temperatures as long as there is good humidity. 

Light:

Enjoys bright and indirect light.
